Kitty thanks for promoting this. :)

Tough, tough question. My favourite nextgen boy would have to be Teddy Lupin. I have lots of love for some of the other nextgen boys but Teddy holds a special spot. I'm a big Remus Lupin fan...and canon wise Teddy is all that is left of him. I like thinking about how Teddy would grow up if Harry became is full guardian...or what if Remus had never died. And even better...what if Remus didn't die and Sirius came back from the dead and they could form a family. <3 It's quite hard for me to separate nextgen kids from their parent's history.

Sadly, I don't think I have a favourite nextgen girl. I don't often read nextgen...when I encounter them its in Drarry or Remus/Sirius stories. I guess I have a little bit more reading to do.

Favorite Next-Gen boy, I'd have to pick Scorpius, mostly because I am writing from his point of view at the moment. ;) I love inventing head canon for his backstory and how Draco is as a father--how he's still a pureblood and a Malfoy, but how he is different from Lucius and how all of these relationships affect Scorpius' character.

Favorite Girl is Molly, although I like many of them. I have written a Percy/Audrey epic which I am continuing for their kids, so I have Molly's life story worked out in my head. Now if I could only download my brain into my computer . . . ;) I also like that she is not written about as frequently as some of the other next gen kids, so I was inspired to give her a story.

Nextgen Girl - Rose. Easy. I love Ron/Hermione because they are both so different, and Rose can be any mixture of their flaws and strengths. I love imagining her with her mother's intelligence and hair, but easy going (perhaps lazy) and funny like her father. And she can exist in H/D EWE stories!

Nextgen Boy - This is harder for me because my OTP is Draco/Harry, so three of the most interesting boys imply that Harry and Draco aren't together (at least for several years). But those are probably the 3 I love most (although Hugo has the advantages of Rose!). If I have to pick one, I think I'd go with Albus. There's something about his fears in the epilogue that speaks to me.

for my favourite boy, I'd have to go with James and Teddy, preferrably together as well. I don't know why exactly, maybe I like the fact that he's so much like his grandfather. But honestly, my absolute favourites are James, Teddy, Albus and Scorpius. Oh and I love the twins too. Sigh. lol.

I don't really have a favourite girl. But if I had to choose, I'd probably say Lily. I don't really have a reason behind it, but let's just say cause she is Harry's daughter. lol.

*nods nods* Your reasoning for loving Lily is just as good as any in my books.

My favourite Next-Gen boy is Teddy Lupin, I think. My basis for this decision is that you don't really get enough information about all the characters to know who they are, how they work. Its all based on headcanon... So based purely on what I saw in the epilogue, Teddy is my favourite. He has a little.. something that I like. He has the humor of Sirius Black, and the confidence of James Potter. He's happy, and interesting, cute and confident.
