Eeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! This is 100% perfect--exactly how it would have gone. I love that you went with Maggie's pov here. I just love her! And she feels just right, too: concerned, intrigued, but also content with her own life (thanks to all the therapy!). Of course they would bond over art and fashion and wine, and of course Sophie would send intermittent texts about things both relevant and not, and somehow that, plus all the said-and-unsaid things, adds up to a friendship. Love, love, love!!!! Thank you so much, dearest!

Aw, yay, I'm so glad you like it!!

My first try was from Sophie's POV, but that wasn't proving interesting--which was interesting in itself, because we know how much I love writing Sophie--because I think it really needed to be Maggie's story. So I'm really happy that Maggie's voice works here for you and that her level of engagement and interest makes sense. Whew! :)
