Although this sounds weird, but this is actually funny because Fred did accidentally bang his head on his desk. He thinks he fell asleep in his computer chair, fell over and banged his head and probably fell on the floor. He woke up and had a lump on his head and his side hurt a lot, so he must have hit his side on the foot to his mic stand. He had taken an Ambien and those knock him out. So now he figured out that when he takes one to lay down right away.
