I probably don't seem like the type who prays often, or at all, but I do :-) and I'll definitely be keeping your dad in my prayers. I hope everything goes well. I knew a guy who had a valve replacement years ago when he was in his mid 80s and it was successful. Take care and wish your dad the best for me.

Thanks Al! My brother Mark had the same surgery years ago..I'm staying by the phone today..
Dad is in pretty good health otherwise.so hopefully his recovery will go well.
