It's been amazing. Zev has given him the greatest gift he could ever have, Olivia. Saturday is in a state of wonderment even when his sister brushes off his advances to be as physically close as they used to be. He doesn't ignore Zev through any of it though. Zev is the link keeping Olivia there and just as much a part of their conversation

Zev is very glad that Saturday is happy. Very glad. And he has some idea of how excited the man must be to have his sister back. However, the amount of attention and looks Olivia has been getting makes Zev feel a little superfluous. He's like a third wheel on the twins' date. The fish are great and all, but his evening is starting to drag.

"Huh?" He expects to be pointed towards another parrot or angel fish. Instead, it's Olivia. "Yeah. She is. Like you, if you were a woman. And you're gorgeous." Hint hint.

Saturday grins huge, more happy about Zev pointing out how much hey look alike then being complimented. Though he loves that too. Under the table he grabs Zev's knee and squeezes.
"I'm so glad she likes you. You're amazing. She... well she didn't dislike Jess. But O never enjoyed her company. That's really special for me. You like her don't you?"
He seems worried. He's not sure how anyone could not like her, but he has to be sure. It's important that Zev likes her, but just a huge bonus if she likes him.

He smiles --though small-- at the squeeze to his knee. Zev takes a long drink from his glass (largely vodka). He sighs, trying to think of the words to even explain how he feels. Saturday is manic. He doesn't have any idea how this all looks from Zev's point of view. From any outside perspective.

"She has mostly tried to kill you since I met her, so I gotta admit, that's hard to warm up to. ... Sat? I like you and I like you enough that if you need me to like her, god fuckin help me, I'll try. But I'm here for you. Do you understand?"

Saturday is disappointed that Zev isn't as taken with his sister as he should be. But their relationship has changed him. With Jessica, things were largely about him and his own feelings with the exception of sex. She was the quiet supportive wife that never wanted to bother him with her own problems. Zev has matured him. Largely the rape has done that and Saturday having to step up to the plate.
So instead of arguing and pointing out O's merits he smiles sweetly and does understand that Zev is doing him an enormous favor. He leans over to give his first kiss on the mouth in a public non-gay place.

"I do. And I want to do something to show you that tonight."
