Once settled after the lurching sensation of PINpointing, Ramon's eyes adjust to the dark...literally. Two little points of red light grow from his pupils, indicating that his night vision is in place. Those glowing eyes sweep over the room they're now standing in. Papers litter the floor and a chair or two is tipped over. The entire place seems to have a feel of being slightly untidy, but not exactly derelict.
Hips is left literally in the dark as she lands, and her bazookoid swings inadvertantly in the direction of Ramon, the only thing she can really hear. Then she realizes her mistake and points it downwards.
"Regenerators." He tugs at his collar, wishing he could take it off; this would all be easier if he could just control the things they were going to face, or at least be able to locate them and avoid them. No such luck with the sonic suppression around his neck.
"They're...unpleasant. And, admittedly, the one mutation of Las Plagas I have the least amount of experience with."
His eyes haven't left the direction that the wheezing is coming from. It's distant, behind the door right in front of them. Most likely, it's meandering the hall just beyond there.
"Lord Saddler always kept them on his island base to serve as guard dogs there..."
Eiko remembers, like she does so many things, just what Ramon said. These things are Regenerators, their only weak spots are Las Plagas. And the parasites run hot.
She lets trained reflexes take over, and the PRL starts to dart blue beams into the mass of the thing, aiming for the wriggling things within the bloated, rubbery flesh.
For someone so passionate about things, she seems oddly calm and controlled.
The PRL makes short work of the two plagas in the front of the Regenerator. However, there's a third and possibly a fourth that are around on its back.
It squeals with anger as it lurches closer, pivoting to face Eiko no matter which way she dodges.
Eiko palms a ball from her belt, taps a stud, and tosses it over the Regenerator. Two seconds later it flares brightly for a moment in the PRL frequency. While not enough to burn or kill, it'll probably stun it - and maybe one or another - enough to get the upper hand.
There's another bit of movement in the shadows, but before anyone can pull a weapon or freak out too much, Ada emerges within sight, one hand clenched over her the upper part of her left arm. She's looking over her shoulder a lot and breathing heavily once she's sure it's safe to make a bit of noise.
Blood, dried and fresh, is flecked across her, as well as running down her arm in a small, oozing, rivulet.
Salazar...She scans the area. Ada has information to report.
Ramon immediately smells the human blood and turns around to spy the Asian spy. And his eyes widen when he realizes...
"You're injured!" He blurts this out before even thinking, thus further securing his status as Captain Obvious in this mission. He quickly runs over, his glowing eyes scanning over her to figure out what the worst of her injuries may be. "D-Don't worry, Eiko can heal you...What happened? You were out scouting, si? Wh-What did you run into...?"
Ada lets go of her arm, her palm is red with blood, and waves her hand dismissively at his going on about her injuries. Ada would live. That would be well enough for her, for the moment.
"Don't think of it, ahn..Ramon." She'd almost said Salazar, but does remember that she was under cover as one of his 'friends'. "Yeah...this place is thick with these fuckers." Ada gives a ragged breath and jerks her head toward the direction she'd come from while moving her hand back to her upper arm.
"Outside, inside...we're looking at insane numbers and they didn't like my playing hide and seek with them, heh." She makes the joke to try and rush off her injuries.
Ramon nods, backing off just a little. It felt weird to be concerned over the safety of Ada Wong, of all people. But he can't deny that he does. She's important to this mission, after all. And, deep down, even though this one's an alternate, he still can't let go of the memory of that little, golden butterfly pin...
"How thick? I know I felt a good deal of them all over when I turn my collar off for a moment, but I hoped that that was just my perception being thrown off by how all of them have more than one parasite..." He trails off, looking over at Eiko, hoping she does indeed have a way to patch up Ada. Mainly now because he knows that a bleeding human is one of THE best ways to draw the attention of these monsters.
Eiko's down. Jun and Derek are nowhere to be found. Spidey's freaking out. Severus is...god only knows where. Ada's vanished again. Gale and Custo are...somewhere.
They've got only seconds before whatever's left in this twisted parody of the White House decides to come see what the commotion is. And Eiko just, gah, burned herself out with her best trick.
She knew it was gonna be bad...but not this bad. She looks over at Ramon.
"C'mon. Let's go do what we came here to do."
It's time.
But just so long as she takes Saddler down with her, then everything'll be okay...
Spidey forces himself to his feet, staggering slightly. "And me, assuming I don't get ... that Gnarly doesn't get me..." He looks a little bit wilted, though not nearly as badly off as Eiko.

The source of that sickening gasping bursts into the room, pushing the door aside with Frankenstein strength.
And behind it...are four more, and they're closing in fast.
The first Regenerator doesn't appear to have a specific target in mind, but the other four move immediately toward Derek, Eiko, Custo and Ramon.
