I could be wrong, there may be one. But sudden transportation to an entirely different place isn't exactly my field of expertise.

Witchery. Or, perhaps this is merely a dream. A set of hallucinations brought on by a fever or sickness. Such is not uncommon.

Hallucinations would explain this to a degree, but it's very rare that people experience the same hallucination at the same time.
