Ah. Yes, I did. It was to keep Topher from having unlimited access.

[He reached forward to use the new sequence he'd devised.]

[The door to the lair began to slowly slide open.]

We can't just have anyone coming in here and using our facilities. Sifting through what belongs to us. Wouldn't you agree?

[ well yes, but it wasn't as if anyone was wandering in there to begin with, and she wasn't sure she considered anything they'd discovered down their their property. most surprising of all, however, was the inference. ]

[ several feet away from claire, the vampire spots her and giggles. drusilla then starts swaying and dancing to a tune only she can hear. ]

[ claire freezes. it takes her a moment to turn, and when she does it's stiff with fear. ]
