Well, Diary-x seems to have sucked a major kumara. They've had a hard disc die, and have no backups since Dec 2004. I'm thinking buhbye to a whole heap o' entries. *sigh

About the Diary-X thing. I am thinking I have lost 4+ years of entries. Holy shit. On the bright side (ha! ha! ha! she laughed hysterically), it's the last big kick up the arse I needed to actually get a better content management system working on my own domain.

Yeah, it's kinda upsetting to think it's all just GONE. Maybe they'll restore, who knows. I'm not going to panic just yet.

I'm thinking the admin of diary-x should be shot, but since he has already acknowledged that he fucked it up, shouting about it seems pointless.

I'm fairly sure the last time I posted there was pre-12/04 and in any case, I have local copies of every post I've made so I'm OK.
