Google Quest

I've been kind of sad that I have a car but haven't been getting out of Portland. Mostly because I have no where to go, so I invented Google Quest. Where you load Google Earth, find some place that looks or sounds interesting, and then go see if it looks interesting in real life

That's really weird. I can see the overhead image on maps.live.com but there doesn't seem to be anything odd about the area - at least not visible from the air.

Maybe something's underneath the tree cover...

Well, the web version of google earth just shows a road there, but the actual application of Google Earth shows it being censored.

I know that two roads intersect there, I'm just wondering what else is there ;)
