Supernatural Anime episode 15: "Devil's Trap"

I guess John and Dean propped Sam up in the back of John's car after the last episode cause he's just sitting there having a vision of YED chasing a little girl in Salvation.
So John is lectury, but Dean gets to drive. John confirms that this is the demon who killed Mary and Jessica, and he is so powerful only the Colt can kill him. Cause the Colt is sexy. But there are very few bullets left. So Sam sees the Salvation sign and exclaims about it, causing Dean to almost hit a woman laying in the road, causing John to yell. Then John gives Dean the Colt and gets out of the car to inspect the woman (Dean wanted to, but John didn't let him). So John tells her "Get up, where's the Yellow-Eyed Demon." He gets lucky and it's Meg who holds John to a tree. Dean wants to shoot her, but John yells at him not to cause it's not YED. There's some action with Sam driving wrecklessly away and John getting captured by Meg.
So Dean yells at Sam in the rain for "abandoning Dad just so you can kill that stupid demon?" and Sam says "Yeah." This is a pretty good scene. No soundtrack, just the sound of rain. It's well-drawn (aside from the usual Dean problem) and well-acted from both of them.
Meg calls using John's phone and cries about being possessed, but I'm betting she's faking it. Dean asks "Does it feel like the demon has left your body?" (that's what he said) and when she says she thinks so he believes her cause she sounds hysterical. Of course the demon is still there. Called it. But they are dumb and caring, so they go where she told them to. They see her walking around with glowing eyes and still decide to go in, though Sam makes a bitch face. He figures it's a trap cause Sammy is smart. Dean's like "So?" and his nose looks pointy.
Meg now has bright glowing lazer smoke coming out of her mouth for some reason. They trap her in an elevator. This new animated Meg is much less badass than that horrible live action bitch.
There's a door with caution tape on it, so they decide they should go in. So it's a big room with thin walkways over a long drop ("One wrong step and it's straight to hell." Well, I guess you wouldn't know yet, Dean). There is a bit of funny when Sam gestures broadly and Dean almost loses his balance and clutches at him, haha. I like anime!Dean, he's just ugly and far removed from TV!Dean. So they find John tied up and Dean wants to untie him, but Sam's all "He might be possessed," so they splash him but he just wakes up. But if it's YED he might be immune to that. He says "Thanks for soaking me. Now it feels like I wet my pants." OK. Fine. Anime. Then a demon shows up and blasts them and they are able to fall from great heights cause it's an anime and Sam is hanging over the edge and Meg is menacing him with a knife and Sam is O_O but Dean shoots her heroically cause he is hero! YAY! So she is unpossessed but still dying :( Poor anime!Meg. Great sequence after that stupid line from John.
Dean gives Sam the Colt. Why? Cause he's less trigger happy? Sam's hair looks dumb. It's distracting me from Dean's boohooing over killing Meg. Sam is happy that he feels bad. And suddenly Dean's necklace is drawn correctly!
WHAT THE FUCK? BLOBBY IS IN A HELECOPTER?!
There are demons everywhere outside, so Blobby drives the helecopter up to meet them on the roof.
They shouldn't call this weird character "Bobby." I would be fine with him if they called him "George."
John is proud of Dean for using the Colt and even remarks that it's him and Sam that are different from him. But then a demon takes control of the helecopter (either a demon or Radical Edward. Or possessed Radical Edward).
Oh shit, Dean knows that isn't John cause he didn't yell at him for saving Sam.
By the way, I forgot that twist in the show too. Like twice. I remember it now, but before I was always "Aw, John's not so bad" -_-
Sam believes Dean, not John. Good sequence here too.
So yeah, it's YED possessing John and WHAT THE FUCK DEAN IS GARGLING BLOOD?! BLOOD IS COMING OUT OF HIS NOSE AND MOUTH! Sam is disturbed by this. Dean passes out and Sam talks to YED.
YED's actor is doing a better job. God, he tells Sam that Jess was getting ready to marry him ;_; This disturbs Sam. Poor Sammy. Heartclench. Dean comes to enough to grab YED's ankle and ask John if he can hear them. Then he apologises for not being able to protect Sam (while spitting up blood, cause people do that a lot in anime) ;_; Then he fake dies, which causes John to fight YED off enough to yell at Sam to shoot. Then fucking Blobby George shows up and yells at Sam not to shoot, but Sam does anyway and YED evacuates up into the sky.
John is still alive. Blobby George tells Dean he's going to be OK. So I guess Sam DIDN'T hit John.
Then Sam breaks the forth wall saying "My brother isn't the only one who's changed. I've changed too" looking right at the "camera." Well, sort of breaking the wall cause he's really talking to John, but it looks like he's talking to us. Then John says "You big baby" cause John is an ass.
Post Credits: Oh fuck they are in the car. I know what's coming. A little possessed girl in the road causes the car to flip, but leaves Blobby George alone for some reason. Cut to everyone inside the car, bloody.
That....Was a really damn good episode. A good version of the original? Nope. A great paranormal anime episode? Very much yes. I really really liked that!
