Well, you're going to apply for financial aid right? You might be able to get scholarships or at least loans to cover the costs. Believe me it sucks having such a huge tuition fee, but you'll get it covered somehow. :)

First of all, you don't have to go to college right after you graduate high school. You can always establish yourself, save up, that kinda stuff. Second of all, you can take your general education at a community college and transfer to a 4 year school later. That's what I'm doing right now, and the tuition only adds up to about $1200 a year. Third, there are always student loans you can take out, and financial aid, and schoalarships. I'm sure you'll make it, Nezumi-chan! If it's really what you want, you should be able to go for it!

Agreeing with melodyblue above me... I went to community college first, with the help of my bright futures scholarship (you should get one too :O), then went on to UF. It ended up helping a lot because I got 99% of my gen.ed requirements out of the way so I could concentrate on Japanese. Be sure to fill out your FAFSA as soon as you can, and check out any scholarships and grants offered by your school. Your guidance councilor should be able to help you with some of that, if not, feel free to drop me a line -- I'm pretty well versed in Florida financial aid by now. X3 *smooshnezu*
