For our second anniversary, I bought us a set of 100% Egyptian cotton sheets of 1000 thread count.  Jason knows about such thing, but I never paid much attention to it.  I actually learned about them from the movie Uptown Girls.  So, we washed them and put them on the bed.  OHMIFUCKINGAWD!!!  They're very fluffy soft even though wrinkled.  We

now get a feather mattress and a down comforterwith an egyptian cotton duvet... i know way to much about bed linens...oh and i'd go with the synthethic down and feathers, it really does feel the same and you wont have feathers all over the room... im rocking the okinawa silk sheets in iraq... my bed back in the states... well it's a truely amazing thing...

Duvet... is that like a comfortor but not? I'm looking into getting an Egyptian cotton comfortor next year, but may wait until we're stateside to avoid annoying shipping issues. Thanks for the suggestions!
