Hi, same as the girl above. I'm not a member of cosplayhell but I keep it on my friends list to see good costumes. I fully agree with your rant because whenever I see costumes I also like to read the criticism and feedback to take into account for when I costume.

I actually tried out for cosplayhell and was denied and I remember you were one of the only people who commented that was actually very civil about rating me and critiquing. I felt ripped apart by everyone else and didn't get much feedback other than, "your costume wasn't up to snuff don't make excuses and of course, stop whining."

When I read your rant I was really impressed by all that you had to say, and you made a lot of really good points. Well spoken, *very* well spoken. I would have commented there but I figure they would have gotten mad :\ So I apologize for cluttering your private journal.

there is so many things you can say to people, but just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD... I wish they would understand that.

Amen to that. Again, thanks for writing that down, it needed to be said and you're the bigger and better person for having the guts to say it!
