Animal Friends

Every day at my home, I see a rabbit hopping (being next to the river and all this is common I guess, but considering I grew up no where near the Collie River, its a bit weird). In fact, a few weeks ago, I am sure the rabbit I saw then was a domestic one, due to its coloring.

Warning: Kinda grossness to follow for animal lovers.

Strictly speaking, I doubt it was a turtle. Turtles have flippers and are therefore mostly water-based, tortoises have feet and are therefore mostly land-based. Though then again, I'm not a vet either =P
Cool. I've only ever seen one of those guys in the wild, ever.

Yeh, Oliver kindly corrected me when he got home and I explained.
The net was being an ass when I had the tortoise with me, because I was trying to look it up and see the difference :P

Feet and claws! And big nostrils! It was so awesome, I wish I could of taken a photo :(

You're lucky it didn't pee on you. That's the first thing a turtle (tortoise, whatever) does when its scared. I know from experiance, sadly.

Um, well I think it may of, cause all this water came out near its tail.
I figured cause his neck was wet, that it was water. With a tortoise-y smell.

No matter, I cleaned the clothing, dust pan and arm afterwards.
