Remember Daria? The cartoon showed a generation of various steretypes, and our favourite, the main character, didn't buy into it and dressed how she liked.
But as intelligent and coolly cynical as Daria was, she was still just a kid, and still had to re-learn fundamental things already known (but only intellectually) when the complexity of life distracted her.

Remember how popular the show was?

Never really liked Daria... she was against following the norm, but it struck me that she was a stereotype herself. Actively trying not to conform. At least, that's how I viewed it. Hypocritical.

Far as I'm concerned the show was trash :P

Nezz: Ya know how you're concerned about this need to follow a trend? Happened all throughout history, and there's always been people who don't conform and do their own thing. Society will always be society, a bunch of sheep with the occasional goat thrown in the mix. At least we have goats to show us how much of a sheep mentality society has ^_^.

Yay goats!
