And Another Three Weeks Slide By While You're Not Looking...

Cat-foo: Had Keats back for glucose check twice; we seem to have found the right dosage, and can hope to be done with that for a while. He's still looking a bit scrawny, but has been gaining weight back. I've become quite blase about the twice-daily injections, sneaking bags of syringes into the Biohazard Sharps containers at work.

I hope the kitties will all be well for awhile!

I thank you for the fine weather at Unbellted. I know it was tough decision and it sure looked in the morning like it would be raining by early afternoon. I think it was pretty much a miracle that it wasn't bucketing down, given the rest of the week.

The FotR hall was realy teeny tiny and I'm really glad the Scriptorium managed to score the table in the lobby (but I missed all the performances.)

Yes, Karen, it's me, Sue; you do become blase about the twice-daily injections; certainly, I did with Cyrion. I'm sorry about Shelley.

I've been dealing with Bobby-Foo (check your email, see if my message got through.) He's come down with a case of walking pneumonia. I had to take him to the local Urgent Care, where he did his Incredible Hulk imitation, and fought off two doctors, two nurses and myself in an effort to give him an antibiotic shot.

Oh, my. I did get your email, and sent a reply: I'm so sorry that Bobby is sick and has been difficult to treat. I'm glad you got the help you needed. I hope things will calm down soon.

Yes, thank Heaven, Bobby is going back to school now, and seems his usual, bander-snatchy old self. He brought home a big bag of Valentines his classmates gave him, and he's taking his own to hand out tomorrow (Pirates of the Caribbean and Spiderman). We're going to the San Francisco Wondercon this weekend---the doctor says he should be fine (I'm still worried, of course, but. Then.)

I'm so glad to hear Keats is gaining weight! That's a good sign with diabetic kitties (you can't let them get too thin). After Wondercon, I'll let you know about coming down and getting Christmas presents. I asked Santa for a million dollars, and too make all Baldwin Fangirls fly off to Mars! Did you get either one of those for me, huh, huh, huh?
