Ideal Christmas Wish
Traditional (applehead) Siamese kitten. While I'm allowed a cat where I'm presently living, won't happen because of the roommates (unless someone begs enough). But that would be my ideal. Family Interference
How do you tell your family how to answer the phone? I know my parents want me to get a job but at least my mom is over enthusiastic about answering the phone without a regard to my situation, i.e. being in the bathroom, sleepy, in the middle of another job situation, etc. My mom has been a secretary but obviously not recently enough to still ( Read more... ) -

This may be considered an odd statement, but I think that liberals need to consider they may be as unforgiving as they think conservatives are about people and issues who don't see their way. Like so many other people I thought McCain's speech was gracious and heartfelt in his desire for across the board efforts to address our country's many problems including the economy, the environment and the war. I'm ecstatic that Obama won. It is about time America (by the way I am a born citizen and as WASP as you can get) actually had a president or even a vice-president who was something other than a WASP. Sorrow--but not so much
Funny how sorrow hits you. My aunt died, who I wasn't that close to but I always enjoyed, which was a bit of surprise to the family even though she had been sick for a number of years with a bad degenerative disease. Real Life Sucks--Even Though No One Will Ever Read This
I'm phobic about social interaction, particularly job interviews, but my present job is going to end this week. Computer Problems
Parents' computer problems again. New hard drive and memory upgrade. Forcing my parents to do it this time with me (with my little info) as backup but meanwhile they have to use my computer for email access. For people who claim they don't use the internet much they are trying to put claims on my domain too much.
