Why is it, that even though people can clearly see that you have headphones on, that they insist on talking to you like you can hear them?

I completely understand where you're coming from, my gf and her family do that to me all the time...

the entire point of the headphones is cause I want to zone out and ignore you people... so stop trying to get my attention!!!
