Hmm....I am working 45 hours this week. Does this mean I get benefits?

i think the law is you have to work at least 35 hours per week to get benefits. you don't just get them for one week if you work enough hours. it has to be consistent. plus, you have to sign up for the insurance and stuff - it's not instantaneous.

but you will get overtime!

everyone gets overtime, whether they are full-time or part-time. the only time you cannot get overtime is if you are salary. i get paid overtime if i work over 40 hours a week because i am hourly, but adam does not because he is salary.
