You can ask the student loan people to wait another few months to give you time to get a job.

I know that you had your heart set on a position in your field, but there are several good temp agencies in town that would probably be glad to help you get some basic office experience under your belt and that would help with the bills while you are looking for something better.

Two words... Hardship Deferral. Contact the student loan guys...they may be nice about it. It could at least bring down the monthly cost of surviving for a bit.
