Army Probing Unprecedented Suspected Suicides

And in military news, the Army says it’s investigating what it calls an unprecedented number of suicides last month. Twenty-four Army deaths in January are being probed as suspected suicides. The toll would exceed the number of combat deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan over the same period...

That's assuming these are actual suicides. Like the soldier who had all the signs of rape and "committed suicide" by "shooting herself in the head with an M-16"... There's been lots of friendly fire incidents, mostly concerning women and POC which all crop up as suicide.

(There's probably also some provision where they don't have to pay the families when it's suicide and not "combat related" as well, for further sickness)
