"The whole purpose of places like Starbucks is for people with no decision-making ability whatsoever to make six decisions just to buy one cup of coffee. Short, tall, light, dark, caf, decaf, low-fat, non-fat, etc. So people who don't know what the hell they're doing or who on earth they are can, for only $2.95, get not just a cup of coffee but an ( Read more... )

I ADMIT IT! I am a Starbucks h0r. I'm not proud of it.

See, I am, I go to Starbucks every day during my lunch, don't even have to order, they know what I want. Then at night I go meet my friends....at Starbucks....LOL

Aww, well I think I'll have to start ordering the Fair Trade coffee, then I won't feel so bad. :) I don't think I could afford to go everyday though - it's £2.49 for a grande hazelnut latte here. EEK!

My usual is grande unsweetend green iced tea, no water (full strength) $1.65 of happiness in a cup!

I do not go to Starbucks. I find their coffee WAY too strong. I just get by with the occasional cup that's made by someone in the office and which I put in more than 50% hot water.

Of course, I have significant capitalist failings in many other areas I'm sure. ;)

Sometimes, though usually everything that's made around here is high test.

If I do ever go to Starbucks, I either get a Venti Non-Fat Latte, or a Venti Non-Fat Caramel Machiato. Though I have to admit it's been probably more than six months, if not a year, since I was last there.

Mmm, coffeeee.

Yeah, there's some really good lines in that film. I also love:

"Sometimes I wonder about my life. I lead a small life. Well, not small, but circumscribed. And sometimes I wonder, do I do it because I like it, or because I haven't been brave? So much of what I see reminds me of something I read in a book, when shouldn't it be the other way around?"

and

"Once I read a story about a butterfly in the subway, and today, I saw one. It got on at 42nd, and off at 59th, where, I assume it was going to Bloomingdales to buy a hat that will turn out to be a mistake - as almost all hats are. "

I'm also a quotes h0r. ;D

I never used to be a Starbucks h0r until I found it my duty to stalk befriend one of the guys who work there. But it was his fault for being supercute with me and spoiling me. I just wish Bux didn't cost so much. Stalking a cute boy is expensive.
