LAyout uncertain as yet, but they've mentioned 40-hour-weeks.
If so, that'll be laughable: One can complete 40-hour-weeks for bar work in three days!

(Ah, crazy times. Sadly, when I used to be doing that, I was working 60-hour-weeks, or thereabouts :-) )

Have you considered security work? your police interaction might be a positive benefit on your CV in that line of work :)

Heh. I'm afraid I don't like exerting arbitrary power over people and reading pornography enough.

This is not to say that I don't like either of those things quite a lot, I just don't like them _enough_! :-)
