Having just returned from the theater, I thought I would write down everything I could remember as it is still fresh in my memory.

I was on the fence about Holmes. I don't like the idea of actioning up SH. He was an intellectual. Prolly couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag.

But I truest your movie judgment. And even if it was as much of a train wreck as it looked, it'd still be worth seeing, just for the bodies and twisted metal. (I get that same feeling about Avatar, only much stronger. And yeah, the CGI is kind of a turn-off for me, too.)

I've read about that not-so-sub-text between Holmes and Watson. That RDJ is actually hinting around that they're gay in interviews, and the studio doesn't like it, because they're trying to market it broadly.

More importantly, is there a story? I just want a good story. I'm too intelligent to be distracted by shiny ob-JUDE LAW'S 'STACHE!!!!
