I actually watched the first episode of this last year. I think it was a free thing on YouTube, but it wasn't enough to get me to pay to see more

We enjoyed it, but with a lot of groans, too! It's very silly, but it knows the ways in which Star Trek is silly.

It's honestly not as much of a Star Trek comedy as The Orville, but it was still amusing.

I enjoyed The Orville for a bit despite its crudeness, until they really messed around with consent in that one episode. I never felt the same, but I kept watching as long as Progeny did so that I could watch with her. When she stopped, I stopped. I gather I missed some good things, but there's so much else to see!

The crudeness was still there, just not as much, as the series progressed. I watched both seasons, and there's supposed to be a third, but exclusive to Hulu. I haven't heard any update on filming recently, and I really think even before COVID it was looking iffy if it would actually happen. I think maybe McFarlane was already looking on to other things and maybe wanted to produce or write, but not star in it.

What's getting to me about so much to see is I'll hear or see an ad about an award winning show finishing it's Nth season, and I've never heard of it.
