Oh, thank you! Doubly, as you know. I don't know what I was thinking, signing up for ficathon as my first time flat-out writing a real story with these two, but it's quite a relief to have it done and apparently not suck, so....whew!

This was a wonderful read. Emotional w/o going over the top (and making them into queens LOL), using canon/episodes as strong backdrop, and watching Daniel's mind chew it over until he could digest the idea. I like it when Jack is Jack; so sure of himself behind his facade.

I LOVE this. Everything about it. Love that it is Jack fo once who is so sure what he wants and that there is never any doubt in any of them that they love each other. And I love how you managed to avoid all the usual slash and J/D clichés and thereby turn a story that has been done thousands of times into something refreshingly different.
And the last scene is just perfect.

Lovely. I particularly liked how well you wove all of this into everyday stuff--there was still a world there, not just Jack-and-Daniel, and I really liked that.

It was interesting trying to strike a balance between 'not enough Jack-and-Daniel' and 'not enough Jack and Daniel have stuff to do' so this was especially nice to hear. Thanks!
