This is absolutely awful.

Makes me want to move far far away from Long Island rather than buy an overpriced house in an town that taxes too much.

Oh God, I hadn't realized where it took place... I heard people talking about it yesterday at work. How sad.

the thing that gets me is that it's about five minutes away from where I work. The store is usually a zoo but who knew it could ever be like that.

I know. This whole incident disgusts me. So does the incident in Toys r' Us where two people were shot.
How empty do people's minds have to be, how disconnected do they have to feel in order for them to care about CHEAP STUFF so much that they are willing to stand in a crowd for HOURS, and will continue shopping even when someone has DIED?!

What is wrong with those people?

I suppose its a fair argument that Wal-Mart shoul;d have had more precautions, crowd control, a barrier put up etc. But really, I blame the people. To have a whole crowd of people get out of control like that, to the point where they TRAMPLED the police officers giving the guy CPR!!!!

Makes me angry beyond words, and makes me laugh a little less at that zany website where you sign up to support Voluntary Human Extinction.

:/
