I've begun to read House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski, while purusing Chapters. I have found it to be an extraordinarily eccentric book and I want it. Badly. I have become drawn to the house and need to read more about it. Much more. I shall be now listening to the house, by way of Haunted by Poe. Much eccentricities shall be learned from this

Happy Birthday to me!

Barring a rude customs officer and immigration woman at the border my trip up was fairly uneventful. And I made it! I'm up here now, sitting in a 'Net cafe with Mark, who's about five feet away on another computer. Man, it's so nice up here. The people are nice, the city's clean.
