I realised I didn't say anything about last week's OOO!
Even though really all I have to say is when did Gotou get awesome. *___* I watched it with Flatmate-san, who is not well-versed in the ways of Kamen Rider (though thanks to my brother, she has been subjected to it before), and we both just kind of went "LOL WHAT" when suddenly he pulled out a ROCKET LAUNCHER. I love that he even owns a rocket launcher in the first place.
To be honest, I can understand why he's so moody about this whole not being OOO thing. I tried to explain it to sunvulcan a few weeks ago and the best comparison I could come up with is it's like you've been working in the same office for years, making the tea, fixing the photocopier when it decides it's allergic to paper, doing all the boring crap nobody else will do, and you've finally worked your way into a reasonably good place. Then suddenly, a position you'd be perfect for in the head office becomes available! So you apply and you're pretty sure you've got it because damnit, there's nobody else in the office who could do it.
And they hire this outsider who walks in on his first day not wearing a tie. Or shoes. And trying not to show how miffed you are, you say to him, "So, you're the new Senior Office Dude?" and he turns to you and without a hint of irony, replies, "What's an 'office'?"
YOU WOULD RAGE.
I have also been catching up on Clone Baby! My new theory is that the clones are all just organ harvesting for that sick girl who thinks mummies are high fashion. I also really enjoyed how in episode six that one guy reacted to the news that he's a clone with "so my mother and father didn't have sex to make me?" like this was the biggest problem and you get this worrying feeling that he's inwardly thinking crap, that totally ruins my favourite wank fantasy. lol the people in this series.
