the seaside was lovely. it was cold and miserable most of the time so appropriate i guess! the sea was really agressive and looked great. in fact the best bit was driving across the moor and seeing the sea and the abby on the horizon for the first time

they did have poster about the place stating the "legendary sat night whitby club" will remain open a bit longer before the refurbishment so i think it might still be on the cards.

but amusingly, there seems to be a little gentrification going on in whitby, there are at least two new posh(er) type bistro's bar type things and a new late night bar/club thing too!
