Blarg!
Okay, so I know I don't have a "following", but maybe there's one or two people who are wondering why the sudden lack of updates after being pretty steady.
The answer is a combination of:
Sims3; It's on my BF's compu so I haven't played it tons, but it loads so fast that waiting the sometimes 30+ minutes for Sims2 just to choose a neighborhood on my er... less new computer is excruciating. I mean, it always has been, but I didn't "know" it could be better.
School; I'm taking summer classes, including two five-week classes PLUS
Work; I work a student job where we normally have 3-4 workers. The other 3 graduated. So it's me, and a girl being trained. Which means I'm on the schedule whenever I'm not in class EQUALS
From when I wake up at 8 to when I get home at 5:25 or 8:00PM depending on the day, plus however long it takes to create/get dinner and do homework, I'm busy. Then, back in bed by midnight!
Which means: I'm too exhausted to process caps or spend my free time loading up the game just to shut it down because I need to shower and sleep.
And I know, I'm still a college student so I have the luxury of thinking that 9-12 hours of obligations (plus okay maybe more for, you know, dinner and homework) is exhausting, and woe is me, etc, etc. But, I mean, I'm not used to being so busy at work (because I'm doing the work of 4 people) and then not getting any pause from homework, because classes are every day... so I'm tired and therefore, it's taking me a LONG time to get the next updates ready in comparison to before.
tl;dr : Not abandoned, just busy.
