This may be a bit redundant but... does the flat already have a phone line that the landlord is paying for then? Because. I'm pretty sure that if there is no line rental being paid on the flat then the flat doesn't actually HAVE a phone number. So if you're setting the phone line up yourself then it's a moot point anyway...

I don't know. This is the problem. I don't know until either a) the agency rings me back or b) I get to the flat.

At least I have the internet on my phone so I won't be completely cut off.
