Chapter 2

As time passed by, Yunho and Jaejoong both had went through puberty and had fully grown up healthily.

While Yunho was getting his good-looking genes from Jung Joon Hyuk, Jaejoong had made himself to look extremely normal, by wearing thick-lens spectacles which caused him to look like a bookworm.

However, he was indeed a bookworm, holding books almost wherever he went. He was being quiet all the time and that was the reason he never had a friend. Ji Shin had always asked him concerning this matter, but he just kept quiet and then locked himself in his room with the reason of studying.

He had never tell anyone that in fact, he had no friends was all because of Jung Yunho. His stepbrother actually broke his friend’s arm while warning him to stay away from him when they were still in the primary school.

Since then, Jaejoong had never dared to talk to anyone or befriended them, because he knew that Yunho would eventually come and hurt them. He did not want anyone to get hurt because of him.

So, that was the way to protect himself and he did not want anyone to notice him, especially Yunho.

Living and observing his brother for such a long time, Jaejoong knew that as long as he was not appealing in front of people, the arrogant Jung Yunho would never even lay his eyes on him.

As usual, Jaejoong would always avoid seeing Yunho except at the dining table. He would not want to cause any trouble to his mother, as he knew that his mother really loved his father.

He was planning to lead a normal life while save all the money he could and find an excuse to live outside when he turned eighteen.

He felt the need to get himself out of Yunho’s life, since he felt insecure just by seeing Yunho around him.

He wished to take his mother with him, but seeing that he was so contented with his life now made him pushed away his thought. At least, he wanted to see his mother living happily with his loved one, hoping that his stepbrother would not do anything to harm him.

He was 17 years old now, there was only one year left and then he would be able to exercise his freedom.

Kim Ji Shin smiled sweetly staring at the paper on his hands, which stated a positive for his pregnancy test.

As much as he knew that a man being able to pregnant was weird, he was really happy that he could give birth to Joon Hyuk’s baby once again, and hopefully the arrival of this baby would tightened their family bond more and most importantly he wanted Jaejoong to be happy.

When Ji Shin reached home, he merrily told Jaejoong about it.

“Mommy, congratulations.” Jaejoong flashed a smile and then leaned forward to give Ji Shin a hug.

Jaejoong was happy for Ji Shin, but at the same time he was worried about Yunho’s reaction regarding the presence of the baby.

He was already so hateful towards him and he could not imagine how he would treat the baby after it was born.

But before Ji Shin was able to spread out this good news, the Jung family received the bad news which had left Ji Shin in devastated condition.

The bad news was the death of Jung Joon Hyuk.

He died in a car accident.

Jaejoong was really sad for his death, because he was a good father to him.

After the funeral, all things were being out of track and Ji Shin was closed to his world and grieved for Joon Hyuk’s death, not aware of what was happening. Jaejoong tried his best to talk to him, but it didn’t work. Ji Shin was shutting the outside world from him, not letting anyone to reach him.

It may seem to be usual in the public’s eyes, but Jaejoong knew that the changes would definitely affect him and his mother.

Jung Yunho had officially became the owner of the house, and claiming all the properties, including Jung Joon Hyuk’s company.

As the shareholder only knew that he was the only son of Jung Joon Hyuk, it was normal for him to take over the company, though he was only 19 years old. They were never aware of the existence of Jaejoong and Ji Shin, since Joon Hyuk had to keep it in secret due to his position in the company. The media and public would sure to make it a big issue if he was found to be engaging in homosexual relationship. He did not want the chaos to bring any effect on Ji Shin too. Although it might be unfair to keep their identity as secret, all he wanted to do was to protect them.

Yunho did feel sad over his father’s death but on the other hand, his father death gave him the opportunity to kick Ji Shin and Jaejoong out of his house, and he was really happy for it.

As for Ji Shin and Jaejoong, they had no rights to claim anything because Jung Joon Hyuk had never registered themselves as husband and wife, including Jaejoong who was still having his mother’s surname. As much as Jaejoong loved his father, he still grumbled to himself that Joon Hyuk had really make a huge mistake for not transferring any title to Ji Shin, at least that could have maintain his position in the Jung family.

Five days after the funeral, Yunho had instructed the maids to help packing Ji Shin and Jaejoong’s stuffs as he had prepared to get rid of them.

Jaejoong knew that this day would arrive some day, but he could not believe that it came out of sudden and he was not yet prepared for it.

His mother and the baby inside Ji Shin’s tummy, he could not imagine what life would be if they were kicked out from here, his savings were not sufficient to support them.

Biting his lower lips, Jaejoong clenched his fists and decided to beg Yunho to let them stay, at least until Ji Shin recovered and the baby was born.

“Please, hyung. Please let us stay here. We don’t have anywhere to go. Please, I beg you.” Jaejoong pleaded while he knelt down in front of Yunho. For the sake of his mother, he would not mind to do this, even though it was concerned with his pride and dignity.

Yunho pushed Jaejoong roughly, causing the latter to hit on the floor.

Jaejoong’s spectacles were thrown away far at the door, leaving him unclear vision with terrified heart. Yes, he was terrified of the person in front of him, his stepbrother who always hated him so much.

Yunho stared at the pale yet still beautiful face.

He almost forgot that he had a beautiful stepbrother, which made him wanted to destroy him. That was the similar face as Kim Ji Shin which seduced his father and consequently made his life miserable when his family was broken with his mother’s death.

He would never ever forgive them.

But he felt uncomfortable when he saw Jaejoong’s stern gaze, it was like he was the one who was wrong.

The stubborn look of Jaejoong made him wanted to conquer the fragile figure in front of him.

“I’ll let both of you stay.” Yunho went closer to Jaejoong and forcefully lifted his chin to look at him, “In one condition.”

“What…… what condition?” Jaejoong stuttered. He was nervous and worried because he could not even see Yunho’s face clearly, but he could sense that the expression on his face was not signaling something good.

Yunho chuckled, “You have to be my pet…… An obedient pet that cannot object to any of my request.”

Jaejoong wanted to shook his head, but when he thought of Ji Shin and the baby, he could only nod unwillingly at the condition.

Yunho laughed aloud, “Finally, victory is mine!”

And then he walked away, leaving Jaejoong who was in despair sitting on the cold floor.

“Kim Jaejoong, now you have nothing left, your pride and dignity, all gone……” Jaejoong thought as tears were rolling down from his eyes.

He had to live and sacrifice himself for Ji Shin and the unborn baby……

Finally finished this chapter, though I was quite sad of Matsuura's statement, sigh.
Still hoping for the good to come.

Anyway, comments are loved.
