Chapter 7

Pouring the fish food into the aquarium to feed the fishes, Jaejoong was once again spacing out as usual.

He doubted why Yunho was willing to let him to come back and continue working in Jung’s mansion.

The previous day, after Yunho brought him back into the house, he told Auntie Kim that starting from that moment onwards, Jaejoong would be his personal maid and would do as he instructed.

And of course, Jaejoong had his mouth wide opened. He would never expect that a person who dislikes him so much would like to have him as a personal maid. If it was him, he would avoid seeing the person he dislikes and would not possibly to make that person a personal maid who he would be seeing daily.

Furrowed his eyebrows, Jaejoong suspected that this must be the way Jung Yunho wanted to take revenge on him.

He let out a big sigh, imagined how his life would be more terrible after becoming Yunho’s personal maid.

As Jaejoong was still drowning in his own world, he did not notice the tall figure which was slowly approaching him right from the back.

He jumped when he felt that someone was blowing air on his ears, making his ears itchy.

“Are you trying to make my fishes die from eating too much?”

Jaejoong turned around and saw Yunho who was grinning in front of him, “AH! Sir, it’s you.”

Then he looked back into the aquarium, the surface of the water had been covered by the fish food which apparently that he had overly poured into.

“Oh no!” He exclaimed and quickly dived both of his hands into the water, trying to get those food out, but it did not seem to work.

While Jaejoong was busy with the work, Yunho was basically laughing at the sight of Jaejoong’s clumsiness.

“What should I say? You’re really stupid enough. Can’t you see the small net beside the aquarium?” Crossing his arms in front of his chest, Yunho stood leisurely watching at Jaejoong while began to tease him.

Jaejoong smacked his head with his wet hand, “Ah, I really didn’t notice that.”

Then he quickly grabbed the small net and started to get those food substances out, but just within a few seconds, he lost grip of the net and so the net drown into the bottom of the aquarium.

Yunho shook his head, starting to wonder how he could actually let Jaejoong to stay at his house.

“You can stop now, I’ll ask Auntie Kim to settle it, and you can just…… do other things.”

Jaejoong turned around facing Yunho and lowered his head, “Sir, I’m stupid right? You shouldn’t let me stay. I think I’ll ruin everything even before I could actually repay all the debt.”

Out of instinct, Yunho ruffled Jaejoong’s hair, “You do know you’re stupid.”

“That’s why…… I should quit.” Jaejoong nodded and said reluctantly, his hands twitching the edge of his maid costume.

“Are you deaf? Don’t you remember what I have said yesterday? Don’t you even think about leaving this house without my permission.” Yunho’s grinning face wore down after listening to Jaejoong’s intention to leave. Jaejoong was really getting on his nerves, did he think that he could just ignore what he had decided the previous day?

Jaejoong had his head more lowered.

“But, can I choose not to wear this maid costume?” Jaejoong asked in real low voice, afraid if he would make Yunho angry again. He did not feel comfortable wearing a girl’s costume.

“Why? I think you look nice on it.” Yunho raised his eyebrows but what he commented was really what he thought.

Biting his lower lips, Jaejoong wondered if he should continue with his argument but as he stole a look at Yunho’s quite unhappy face, he gulped and swallowed all the words he planned to say.

“Sir, there’s a call for you.” Auntie Kim entered the living room and handed over the phone to Yunho.

While Yunho was talking on the phone, Auntie Kim exchanged looks with Jaejoong, asking if Yunho had been angry at him since what she could feel the weird atmosphere when she entered the living room.

Giving her an “I’m-okay” smile, Jaejoong shook his head.

“To make up for your mistakes, you’re going to a dinner party with me tonight.” Yunho inched closer to Jaejoong and pointed on his nose.

Jaejoong quickly nodded in response since he really wanted to make up for everything he had caused. At least, he had to do something right for once.

Yunho smirked at Jaejoong’s reaction and continued, “But…… you have to dress in a gown.”

“Huh? But why?” It could be said that Jaejoong was basically screaming when he was asking. He was already forced to wear a maid costume, and now he needed to wear a gown some more? He sure won’t be happy with it.

“If you wear it, then your debt is reduced to half of the amount, how about it?” Yunho suggested, indeed, he could not denied that in fact he was anticipated to see Jaejoong in gown, well, he did look good in the maid costume after all.

“Ok then.” It was a good offer and he could not even see any reason to reject it. He could repay his debt as soon as possible and leave this house.

Yunho smiled in victory.

But how would he react when he discovered that the reason Jaejoong agreed on it was to get his debt settled and leave the house as soon as possible?

******

It was 6.30pm at the evening and Jaejoong was nervous sitting on his bed, watching as Auntie Kim was helping out to select the gown he should be wearing.

“Auntie Kim, do you think that Master Yunho purposely wants to embarrass me in front of people later at the dinner party? You know, I need to disguise as a girl but I’m a guy.”

“No worry, Jaejoong. I don’t think Master Yunho would embarrass you. I heard that he was supposed to bring a partner to the party but since as you know he has a rather bad temper, so he’s reluctant to find a partner and well, no one actually wants to be his partner though. Jaejoong, please don’t tell anyone that I have mentioned about him being bad temper, okay?” Auntie Kim comforted him while still busy in selecting the gowns.

Jaejoong sighed.

“Right, this one would fit you well!” Auntie Kim picked a purple gown and handed it over to Jaejoong who was still sitting on the bed and seemed to be spacing out again.

“Jaejoong.”

“Ah, yes.” Jaejoong took over the gown and sighed again.

He glared at the gown, “Auntie Kim, where do you find these gowns?”

“In this house, of course.” Auntie Kim replied.

“Does this mean that Master Yunho’s girlfriends lived together with him before break-ups?” Jaejoong felt a little bit flustered when he thought that maybe these gowns were bought by Yunho to his former girlfriends and now he was reluctant to wear them, it just made him feel uncomfortable. Or else, it would be strange that there were so many gowns in the house.

Auntie Kim let out a laugh, “What are you thinking of? These gowns belong to Master Yunho’s mother. And…… they are like treasures to Master Yunho.”

Jaejoong felt relieved after hearing Auntie Kim’s words.

Auntie Kim sat down beside Jaejoong and held his hands, “I’ve been living here for about twelve years when Master Yunho was still a 12 year-old young kid. They are a happy family before the tragic strike on them, causing the death of Master Yunho’s parents. I did not really know what happened but Master Yunho was not able to trust anyone anymore. And that’s why there would only be a few maids in this house. But not many people could endure with his temper. That night after you were brought back to the house, I was sure that I’m right about you being special to Master Yunho. And now, it was way too rare for him to let anyone to wear his mother’s gown.”

Jaejoong looked at her with a weird look, it seemed like he did not get what Auntie Kim was talking about.

“Nevermind, you’ll know what I mean soon, let’s get you dress up, or else the dragon downstairs would get furious again.” Auntie Kim chuckled.

Jaejoong laughed too as he knew that the dragon Auntie Kim mentioned was actually referring to Yunho.

******

Although Yunho greatly opposed to himself in his heart about how he was amazed with Jaejoong’s appearance in the gown, his eyes was actually shining as he watched Jaejoong difficultly dragged his steps down the stairs with high-heels he was wearing.

He intended to fool Jaejoong by asking him to get dressed as a girl, but he found that he could not really laid his eyes off Jaejoong and he was indeed glad that he actually continue with his prank.

“Sir.” Jaejoong finally reached in front of Yunho, still being unstable standing with high-heels.

Yunho cleared his throat and acted uninterestedly, “Hmm, not bad. At least better than what I’ve expected.”

“Now, let’s go.” Without waiting for Jaejoong, Yunho had proceeded to the main door.

Jaejoong pouted, and continued to drag his foot difficultly following behind Yunho.

What he didn’t know was that Yunho was smiling while he was walking in front of him.

===============================================================

Sorry, this fic is really going beyond what I’ve expected since here comes cross-dressing! Jae, I didn’t know what I was thinking when I was writing. Honestly, it turned out to be quite awkward. I expect to have more yunjaeness in the next chapters, so wish me good luck.

As usual, I would be thankful to receive comments although this chapter is a total fail. Thank you.
