Heart. Shattered.

What are you doing to me, lady? Even though I knew it was coming (well, that something bad was coming) it still feels like a blow, especially because it's one of those situations where now everything is out in the open, it's been talked through, but people are still hurt so they can't just fix it. My stomach kept sinking more and more every time Rachel had the opportunity to tell Puck about Shelby and didn't. Puck having an issues with lies...it makes so much sense.

I'm trying to shatter your heart into tiny pieces, of course. Success!

Really though, I like torturing them mostly because it makes them stronger together in the long run and makes for a good story. ;)

How heart breaking.... You know Rachel didn't even want to go see her to begin with! Such a amazing update!

FUCK YOU, SHELBY, YOU DON'T EVEN GO HERE. GOD.

Rachel, do you know Puck at all? Puck, do you know Rachel at all? See, I don't feel like Rachel was ~intentionally lying, and Puck, boy, you better figure out what ~it is before I pull them razors out my hair. But, honestly, Rachel, what ~were you thinking? (Do you like how I talk to your characters like they actually exist?) Why you no teeeeeelll hiiiiim??

Honestly, though, this chapter was so good. I loved the angst, and I was expecting it, but not from that direction. I just ~knew shit was gonna explode. I'm actually pretty proud of Puck for not just pretending things are okay. I like that he's not willing to go back to a relationship when he still needs to figure this thing out in his head. Also, yay Marlene appearance! I felt a little sad that she seemed so short with Rachel, but I guess it's understandable that she'd take Puck's side. I just don't like that Puck and Marlene are thinking of her as a liar-- they don't understand the very warped thinking of my poor baby!!! :(

I'm glad that you were proud of Puck; I was proud of him, too. ;) I will say, I don't think that Puck and Marlene think she's a liar. Puck feels like he's being lied to even though, rationally, he knows that she isn't trying to hurt him. Here, the difference between what he feels and what he knows is incredibly important.

Thanks for the comment!
