Rebekah takes an opal ring from the dead girl's finger before leaving the blood stained apartment because it's pretty and she wants it.

(She replaces the severed extremity with care before she goes.)

The reasons why I love this come down to two quite simple things: I love Rebekah's vulnerability and I love Rippah!Stefan. It's as easy as that.

Plus, it's interesting and completely fucked up that the things she loves and finds herself attracted to about him are the exact things that make it impossible for him to be with her. Talk about a self-destructive love affair.

Amazing. Have I told you lately how much that I love that you're writing TVD fic?

It sounds wrong, but ripper!Stefan makes me happy. He's all lurky and smirky and bad and I like it.

See, the whole living forever thing means that they can just partner swap for eternity, which is exactly how I picture it happening. I have no shame.
