the more i want to go. its so sad too cuz i have a really strong feeling that im not getting in...idk y. i REALLY hope im wrong... i think im just trying to not get my hopes too high cuz i dont think id be able to handle the rejection. like yea im sure I'll like other schools but i really feel like this is the school for me. rinaldi said not to ( Read more... )

I hope it all goes well, and from what I've read here, you're pretty damn smart!!! So you shouldn't worry about it. And, if you by some chance DO end up at BU, I'm pretty sure Mike Dimitriev(from Citations) goes there, and UMass Amherst and BU Marching Bands perform at Allentown, PA each year, so we'd see each other. :D

I'm pretty sure it's just playing. I know for a fact that UMass doesn't compete, and I'm not THAT sure about BU, but I assume it might be the same policy??

But question, is Everett coming to Band Day this year??

You got everything going for you, your in NHS, you got the grades, you got the ethnic thing down, you got the whole "living from a low class" kinda place, ya dig on that?

You have a higher chance rate into getting into BU than me.

I should be the one sweating.

I'm a white girl from a lower middle class family with mediocre grades and mediocre SATs. AAaaand mediocre AP scores. I got NOTHING going for me. I mean ya, I live in the low class kind of place, but I mean, shoot I'm white. They'll label me, just like they'll label you.

BU is my dream, and your's as well, I just think your's is more realistic than mine.

Bu doesnt compete either. and mike d. from citations does do bu. HOW did you now know they had a band, they performed at the everett homeshow a couple of years ago. lol.
