I'm relatively new to the entire military support thing but I've come to realize quickly that people don't understand how important it is for me to talk about Patrick...how much of myself I find in him. I'm very proud of him, I want to talk about how proud of him I am...some people just roll their eyes and decide not to try to understand why I love him, why I'm sticking through this.
Anyway, even though I'm new at this I guess what I'm saying is that I'm more then willing to talk...I might not always know what I'm talking about (I'm actually pretty clueless) but I'm always willing to listen and learn from someone more experienced then I am.
aw im glad to near that. and if you ever have questions i love answering what i know :). and i know exactly what you mean about the rolling of eyes and the need to talk about chris. its therapy for a heart that half is missing, to talk about the person you miss. ya know?
I totally get it! People don't realize that it makes me feel less alone, makes me hurt less, when I talk about him. It's good therapy for my soul to tell people how incredibly proud of him I am. Seriously, I cried yesterday because I am SO proud...I miss him terribly but the tears were happy because he is so amazing! There are going to be a lot of things that we have to go through between now and when he's finished with training...I can't keep it quiet all the time because 1) it'll drive me crazy, 2) it'll drive everyone else crazy, and 3) I'll turn into this really bitchy girl, lol.
wow people these days are so rude my boy tells me all the time that he's in the military means im in it too. so people who tell you not to act like your not are just being dumb] im always here for you to talk too
i can't talk in person but feel free to email me anytime. we can chat and get to know eachother better..that way that trip to arizona will be less awkward :p haha
