I had the oddest dream about you last night, Nicci. I was visiting you in Birmingham. Well, it was more like "Birmingham" as it was a fast communter train away from London. This was a medieval town and you lived on a curving shadowed lane with three stories grey brick buildings. Your apt was on the third floor of a walk up where the stair case was as winding as the laneway outside. We had lots of good talks and shared coffee after coffee in yellow and green plastic glasses that you carefully stacked and saved in the drawer of a bedside table. You preferred to sit on your bed and I sat in a nearby wooden straight backed chair. There was a guy outside, a middle aged chubby balding man with ginger hair, a motor biker (someone I recognize from many of my dreams. He is my dream guide...a strangely shaped guide, but one doesn't get to choose) and he guided me back to the train and to London, telling me that I didn't need to take a train or a plane to see you: that I could do the trip on a bicycle in a very short time whenever I wanted to
