This woke me up this morning at about 2:45a.m. from the dead of sleep. I thought we were being bombed and I was going to die.

8th and Irving is one block away from me. The article describes them as bottle rockets, I've heard and seen bottle rockets and these must have been some pretty damn big bottle rockets. They sounded like bombs they were so loud and the intense flashing lights that lit up my window didn't help.
