Thanks! There will be a few bits which will be .. well, let's say over the top for purely plot reasons (and heck, it's CSI!) but hopefully it won't get too distracting from the story itself. I hope anyway! *fingers crossed*

Ah, I'm a Nick/Gil convert, so I suspect you'll be quite happy with how that aspect pans out over time :D - although there might be quite a few poor Nick moments, I have to confess. Still trying to decide how dramatic I'll make the ending..! *more evil rubbing of hands*

Ok, finally found time to start off on your epic! A great start! I love over-eager young Greg, and the reluctant Nick and casual Warrick are just too perfect!

I haven't time for more tonight, but will work my way through soon! Have you any idea how long it's going to be over-all-ish? I see you're up to 11 chapters now.

It's fun to see how immersed in CSi you've become and all due to a fiendish plan by some people I know *snickers*

Thanks! It might be quite a long ride, I've just reached the 100,000 word mark and I'm expecting there to be at least four or five chapters left - probably more, to be honest, I haven't really started the third stage of the setting plotline.

There was a fiendish plan?? What was that? I fear my CSI fandom turned up through my Wolverine one (weirdly enough!) when I started idly watching the episodes on tv in an attempt to find Liev Schrieber's episodes and then got fascinated by Nick and Warrick's relationship (and then Gil, after reading a few slash fics and finally seeing the season one episodes where he's actually happy!). I hadn't realised that Lady Heather and the bondage place was actually canon, so as soon as I knew that I started having weird bunny plots.. *grin*. Since the woman who plays her is also a brothel owner on one episode of Firefly, I had randomly assumed that's where she'd come from!
