(neither bit was particularly horrifying though, just the day to day section of the story - I mention this as some of my fics do have a habit of having handcuffs in them

Not likely :D I got Dan Brown for an old Biology essay on enzymes and for a google-translated piece of RPG... which is weird and probably says things about Dan Brown that I don't want to think about :D (the slash pieces got me Mark Twain and Isaac Asimov :D)
Oh, and I got Lovecraft as well just then, for my English coursework on Faustus, King Lear and Death of a Salesman.
All my other fiction is in German, so I keep running school work through the analyzer... *giggle* So tons of quotes from Chaucer apparently mean I write like Shakespeare? :D
