Well I haven't done this for awhile. My exciting news is I reached my predetermined downpayment today and am actively looking for a house. Don't know when I'll get one but I'm looking. Finding something in my price range will be the trick...actually finding something in my price range that has trees and grass and space will be the really tricky

New developments suck at first, but become super awesome over time (and value skyrockets)... so it's a bit more of an investment and it'll take a while to grow some big trees, but could be a decent idea.

But I want trees now! Also, new developments have this tendency to look the same...that creeps me out.
