anyway, loved the beginning. i'm really kind of starting to feel bad for Gwen tho...her husband is always off on some adventure with Merlin and leaving her alone lol poor girl. but i loved Arthur telling the dude not to kill the witch....i love it when he gets all angry and Kingly and....yessssss!!

now...i know Uther was an asshole but goddamn....i didn't think that he'd be that angry with Arthur. that was awful. i felt so bad for Arthur. and i know people are all "HOMG WHY WOULD HE WANT TO SEE UTHER THAT'S STUPID!" i mean i get it tho...he's the one who raised him...he's the only other one he can talk to about being king and ruling the kingdom....and that's what he got?? that's awful. someone needs to write a fic about how in the following scene when the boys are by the fire, Merlin wants to comfort Arthur and help him forget even if just for a minute about it all so they make love by the fire!!! WHY AM I NOT A WRITER GODDAMN IT!?
i'm surprised Uther went after Percival and not Elyan tbh since he's Gwen's brother. i would have thought that would have been the better target but i guess Uther just hates them all except for Leon lol. and uhh...was anyone else turned on by Merlin's rolled up sleeves in the scene where he's patching Percival up?? no? just me? ok then...
i loved Merlin being all sexy and telling Uther off in the end!! MAGIC HAS ALWAYS BEEN HERE BITCH, SIT THE FUCK DOWN!! lol awww man we were SO close to a magic reveal! "Merlin has..." omg!!! i still think it was kind of awesome that Arthur was all "idgaf what you have to say about Merlin just go away!" like...he can say whatever he wants about Gwen and the knights and Arthur but goddamn it don't you say a word about his boyfriend!!
