Arthur and Merlin's last scene together broke my heart, too. And Merlin and Gwaine's last scene. I did not like that either of them had to say good-bye. *shakes fists at Morgana*

i know, it was such a sad ending. a good one, but so sad.

I haven't watched the last yet. But this one was... I don't even know. I don't take it super seriously, but I was hoping for just one cool thing... For the battle to be hopeless and for Merlin (and not OLD MERLIN) to come riding in on a dragon's back like the coolest kid at school, saving the day and shit.

WHY, SHOW? Why can't you give me the one and only thing that I had left to want? Why do you hate me, Show?

I reserve all anger until I watch the finale, though. There is still time for this show to pay back my investment. They just better not keep Merlin old-manned up the whole time, though.

i was sort of angry that they brought back old!Merlin as well, but it worked out tbh. at least in my eyes it did.

granted, the VERY ending, like the last minute, i wasn't too thrilled about. i'm interested to hear your opinion on it!
