my father's an atheist, so religion was not the biggest concern of the day. if it wasn’t the opiate of the masses, it was at least a kettle of fish better left alone. i did go to sunday school, but only because it made my grandparents happy. that was religion.

i never liked punk rock because punk rock doesn’t resolve. but i was in mayrics one night when i saw HUH playing. i stood there for fifteen minutes. after that i liked punk rock.

sometimes you have to watch somebody love something before you can love it yourself. it is as if they are showing you the way.

i used to not like God because God didn’t resolve. but that was before.
