Pairing - Charles/Erik
Summary - Erik is too rough, and Charles is too tender. They almost get it right. But the realms of each other's bodies are foreign, incomprehensibly difficult to conquer. Written for  this prompt at the kinkmeme.

This is just beautiful and feels so true to character, how they each would feel about themselves and the other. Gorgeous.

Oh my god... This is incredible. So beautiful and raw and lush with imagery. I love every word of this. This is such a wonderful take on their relationship.

"It's as though Charles isn't even capable of being mad at him in the first place - everything is forgiven, automatically, without questions or caveats." - that's such a wonderful picture of grace, and it's so lovely. That single phrase, as if the whole rest of the story wasn't wonderful, sold me completely.

And the story was, indeed, wonderful. I loved the way you wrote the sex, the slightly fractured, frenetic way Erik's mind works here. Thank you so much for sharing.

Erik's mind, is, admittedly, a fascination, ha. Hopefully I was able to do it justice. It's funny that that one line stood out - I had hoped, while writing it, that it would sum their relationship well, this absolute, almost naive way that Charles cares for him. But I digress.

Thank you so much for reading. ♥

I usually don't leave comments - which is a shame and something I'm trying to correct - but this was so wonderful and sensual. Thank you so much for writing this.

Yeah, unfortunately, I'm the same way. I always feel awkward leaving praise and just end up saying nothing, which is terrible. Ah, old habits.

Anyway, thank you so much for reading and enjoying and commenting. It means a lot. ♥

oh, this was wonderful. erik's inability to believe himself good really hit me in this one. impossible bittersweet, because he manages to find the tenderness, but even so he's still reaching for that fatal flaw we all know is coming.

and hot. almost forgot to mention that, didn't i? :p

Oh, Erik. D: The thing that always gets me about this pairing is the fact that they are, for lack of a better word, star-crossed. Even in the fluffiest of fluff, you know how it's (eventually) all going to end for them. Oi, what a downer.

Thanks for reading. I'm glad you liked it. ♥
