Update:
I went to the movies with Chris, Brian, and Eduardo. We had a supremely good time. Chris gave us a ride there since my aunt failed to show up and we played games at EB Games and then we bought tickets for Lemony Snickets and I ate almost an entire bag of starburst cause they feel yummy in my tummy. And then we went home after tossing around an idea of putting a TV in the back of Chris's car and playing DDR somewhere or other. Let's see if it actually happens... that would totally rock though.
As for the finals twas a little harder then last time. History and Chemistry. I would rather not think of it.
I went to sleep early last night so I woke up at like ten and made myself some breakfast and then I say down at the compy and checked my cell phone and I had two voice mal things. So I checked and one was of Pablo telling me he just got home from Epicenter (a dance sponsered by the media department. Features video games, video game tournaments, battle of the DJ's, and techno music. Winner of the DJ thing gets to DJ the prom.) and the other was Todd telling me not to make any plans on Martin Luther King day cause he's gonna be in Miami and he's gonna come see me!! YAY!!! I am so happy cause I've known Todd since sixth grade and he and I were really close but then I moved to Lehigh Acres and then I moved here and I really don't want to lose him and I haven't seen him since September so I am happy. ^_^ SQUEE!!!
Description inspired by the quote of the day:
"My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness."
Author:The Dalai Lama
I think that says a lot. I do not believe in god and I really hate religion as a whole (I had a strange childhood) so this says a lot to me. Rather then wasting our breath on energy on convincing people that we're right and they're wrong and all that good stuff we should just be nice to other people and forget about everything else. And then supposedly God will "save" us if we believe in him so does that mean that someone who devoutly believes in God but commits heinous crimes is more likely to go to Heaven then someone who does not believe on God but commits acts of kindness of every day? I think there's something wrong with that thinking. If everyone just commited themselves to doign one nice thing for someone else every single day this world would be a much better place.
