He’s supposed to be getting comfortable in his new desk. He’s never understood what that’s supposed to mean exactly. There’s nothing comfortable about it anyway. Finally, her need for coffee sated, she noticed a stranger. Ross had finally found someone to fill that desk. She took another sip of the coffee as she went over and grinned. She indicated the jar of jelly beans. "Should probably hide those or there won't be any left once Logan sees 'em."

Still, despite the experience required for this squad, this guy wasn't even comparatively young.
"I used to keep a stash of vanilla wafers in my desk drawer," she said, grinning wider. Megan laughed. "They kept vanishing. I really suggest finding a way to boobytrap that jar."

"Somewhere I have plans for building a trebuchet out of chopsticks." That's true, actually. He discovered it on the internet one day, and it only took a few orders of Chinese takeout to save up enough chopsticks. "If Logan raids my jelly beans, I'll pull out my arsenal."
...it's sad that he's actually a bit excited about the prospects of defending his jelly bean jar.
